A 16 million OLED colour display measuring a 3.7” is going to be a head-turner. High levels of responsiveness of the display screen, is assured by the AMOLED capacitive technology. At 360 x 640 pixels and equipped with an accelerometer sensor, viewing of pictures and videos is pleasurable on the handset.

Its key feature is HD quality video recoding and playback. It is equipped to support HD recoding at 720 p @ 24 fps, D1 recording at 720 x 480 pixels @ 30 fps as well as VGA quality recording @ 30 fps along with QVGA time-lapse and slow-motion recording.

It includes a Stereo FM radio with RDS and FM transmitter; MP3/MP4 players; DivX/XviD/WMV playback modes; downloadable Java games and the much-talked-about 8MP camera. The device is GPS enabled supported by the a-GPS function and provides a Samsung Navigator. A 3G device with HSDPA (7.2 Mbps), it provides for fast internet accessibility. The OS is the Symbian S60 (5th Edition) and CPU an ARM Cortex-A8 600 MHz processor with 3D Graphics HW Accelerator.

With an internal memory as large as 8/16 GB (different versions), and the provision for up to a 16 GB microSD card-slot, the Samsung Omnia i8910 HD is high on data storage.
