The Nokia 6600 Fold is a 3G clamshell phone that has been released last August of 2008. It measures eighty seven millimetres high by forty four millimetres wide, by fifteen millimetres deep, and only weighs one hundred and ten grams thus it is easy to hold and light to carry. The Nokia 6600 Fold has a 2.13inch OLED screen that can display up to sixteen million colours as the main screen and it also has a 1.36inch OLED external screen that has a display resolution of 128pixels by 160pixels.

The internal memory of this handset is only eighteen megabytes, but do not worry, because it comes with an expandable memory card slot that can support up to eight gigabytes of memory storage, using a MicroSd memory card. This handset has EDGE technology for fast data transfers to compatible devices via Bluetooth connectivity and USB connectivity. The Nokia 6600 Fold also has a built in music player that supports MP3, AAX, AAC+, eAAC+ and WMA music formats. This mobile phone also has Nokia Maps for users to gain directions to different locations thus they avoid getting lost while travelling.

This handset also has a built in two megapixel camera that comes with LED flash feature that ensure users that by using this handset, they would be able to capture high quality pictures and videos. This handset is furthermore equipped with a secondary VGA camera for 3G video calls. The Nokia 6600 Fold allows users to send, create and receive simple text messages, multimedia messages and email messages. The Nokia 6600 Fold can provide up to four hours of talk time and about three hundred hours of standby time.
